When I first started collecting I built my own cabinets. My Dad has a woodshop and it was a lot cheaper to make them rather than buy them. It is very labor intensive however. Now, I only buy the "Do it yourself" Cornell kits from Bioquip and the open-faced Cornell cabinets. They are easy to assemble, and less expensive. The kits cost $160 for 6 drawers where as the assembled drawers are around $50 a piece. Minimal tools are required to assemble them. You will need 3/32 thick glass, cut to the proper dimensions costs around $40. So for $200 bucks you can build 6 drawers. Purchase the 6 drawer open-faced cabinet for $180 bucks and you are set. It costs me about $380 bucks for the cabinet and the drawers together...

There appears to be two of them.
insectofvietnam
and
vietnaminsects
Not sure if they are the same person or not. Prices between the two are different as well as the contents of their pages, however the specimens look the same.

Just out of curiosity, do any of you add an anti-fungal to your relaxing chamber? If so, what do you use.
I have had some minor issues with mold on relaxed specimens, even on some that have only been in the relaxing chamber for 8-12 hours.

I noticed there is a seller on Ebay from Vietnam who is selling lots of 100 and 500 butterflies with full collecting data. Anyone know anything about this guy, his specimens, and the data???
I'm just really curious.
Matt
