Her is my first attempt at a goofy video to demonstrate my technique for building the Cornell Drawer Kits from BioQuip.
Hope it helps you!

Now that I look at the pictures from Butterflies of America webpage of Parides anchises koenigi it is obvious my specimen is that species... It's very difficult to separate them out with row after row of such similar butterflies.

The diversity amazes me. This marks the 5th species of Parides I collected in Peru, in one week...

Hello Friends, I have a swallowtail from Tingo Maria that I'm not sure of. I know it is a Parides, but what is the species? lysander, eurimedes, sesostris I think it is Parides sesostris, but confirmation would be great. Thanks!!! : Attachment Deleted

It's a Leptophobia - something near L. aripa - but note quite right.
John Thanks so much! I'll look into it further!!!

Hello everyone, having trouble with this little white guy on the left. When I netted it I thought it was an Eurema... but now that it's spread I don't think so. Any thoughts? Data for both specimens are the same: Satipo Peru 8th June 2016 Wingspan= 2.5 cm Spread

I slowly walked into the bushes, not caring about the thorns in the slightest. The butterfly perched on a branch about a meter ahead of me and I knew I had my chance. I snapped the net over it, and... There was nothing. Nothing in the net, nothing below. I had been looking at the specimen the whole time and had sworn it hadn't flown away, but sure enough, it wasn't there. Ugh! This has happened to me countless times. The question is, where do they go? I think they slip into a parallel dimension or alternate universe! I've taken P. cresphontes in Texas and Arizona... I have never seen them in Colorado!

Hello all! I need help with this one. I think it is a species of Dismorphia, but I can't seem to match it with any specific species. I know you all can help. It is from Tingo Maria, Peru...

Wow! What great prices!!! I may need to order from this site. It appears I can buy drawers cheaper from Quebec than I can buying the Bioquip kits and glass. Thanks a ton for your post!!!

Here is one of my home-made cabinets with home-made drawers. The nice thing about them is they all have doors. They are the size of Cornell drawers.
