There are a number of Delias-mimics (including moths) in SE Asia, also strongly implying that Delias are toxic. Oddly, I can't think of any mimics in the Papuan region. Perhaps the unique and complicated patterns of Papuan Delias have never enabled mimicry to evolve, or, perhaps, there are some small mimic moths in the region with which I'm not familiar. The latter is certainly possible since I know next to nothing about most Geometridae, Arctiidae, etc. in that area.

Mynes species could be good candidates for Delias mimics in New Guinea.

Presumably it was Hoshino, since Baba and Fukinuki are beetle sellers and Miyashita is not young (unless his son was there instead).

I have never met Miyashita's son, but have known the father for many years now. I had heard that he is training his son (hopefully) to continue the business, or at least to help him as he gets older.
