Hi these are longhorn beetles (cerambycidae). They are harmless to you and your family. But the larvae bore through timber and can be pests. Although they prefer dead and dying trees, not houses. Its possible they emeged from timber you collected for firewood? Do you have a fireplace?

The picture does not do it justice, I think my digital camera is on the way out, and it's hard to get any natural light at this time of year but I will try to take another one What exactly are we looking for? Is it the color?

These insect appeared on my house ceiling and they kept coming back each time I clear them. Can someone advise what are these and how can I get rid of them? Are they harmful? They are very tiny and about 2-3mm Long. View AttachmentNow that you know what they are you can look them up and get rid of them if you choose.

Booklice or psocids are regarded as the most primitive of the Hemipteroids and i wouldn't worry too much as they are pretty harmless.

True bugs yo! Hemiptera They're hatching out of eggs and are refered to as mymphs untill they grow by moultimg several times untill they become winged adults. Very difficult to id in the imature stages btw

Its a Lycid of some sort. Many insects mimic these as they are distasteful or toxic to eat...
