Dercas species from Vietnam Three male Dercas gobrias & two paler specimens with pointed forewings I don't recognise. Anyone know what these are? Attachments:

I am not a specialist, but could be a pair of Dercas verhuelli to me, pointed forewing specimens being some females. See example here : yutaka.it-n.jp/pie/20500010.html ssp. depending of the location in Vietnam.
Could be gobrias females too, as pointed FW are classic on Dercas females.

Thanks for that information Olivier. I think you are right about these specimens being male & female Dercas verhuelli doubledayi as they are from the same locality in Viet Nam & collected in the same month I do have a female D gobrias from Borneo-see bottom left of picture (male is above it). D'Abrera lists gobrias as a subspecies of D verhuelli found in Borneo. The males on the right of this picture are from Sumatra. D'abrera has this one as D verhuelli herodorus Attachments:

What is the collecting data of your verhuelli of the first pictures, Dave ? I will ask Monastyrskii about them. PS : stop using d'Abrera So many errors in his Delias which is a well documented group, I can't imagine his Dercas to be right.
