Philippines Delias are very different and very interesting. Some of them like Delias magsadana are rare in collection !

Nice to see some of them the 'right' way up for a change, so we can see both sides.
Although I don't collect Delias they are really stunning, and I do enjoy seeing some of the local species in my garden every so often.

Thanks Peter. Another beauty just off from the spreading board. A perfect female of Delias cinerascens uedai from Mt Bawang, Borneo. This subspecies has been hard to find for a long time, until the great Chris Nock went there with a net.
He regularly offers some on his ebay shop. Female are rarer though. Attachments:
