I like so far what you have posted ! Papilionidae are never short of enthusiasts or interest. My compliments on your fine job of spreading --- very nice.... When you do post an image please always try to include a scientific name with it (including subspecies if you know it). Also, post any data you may have on the specimen. Other collectors will not only find it more informative; they may even be able to correct any identifications you have (concerning subspecies) based on the locality data. Post more of what you have please. Always a pleasure to see things others have acquired. Best regards Trehopr1 !

Very nice specimens and we would like to see more, but please add the scientific names as suggested including the subspecies. If you want to add larger images, join one of the free hosting images sites such as photobucket.

Beautiful Papilios ! Have you had a chance to collect them by your self ? It must be amazing to see them in the wild. I have recently met Papilio palinurus palinurus on Koh Samui-Thailand for the first time. I could not walk away and stop enjoying this beautiful creature flying around and stop to sip some minerals from sand. It was a perfect A1 specimen however as it is protected species here in Thailand I did not collect it. I really regret I did not take my camera with me.

Paul no they are collect by others and I buy or exchange to get them It takes a lot of time, effort and luck to find such fine specimens in the wild.

True that these Achillides are breathtaking ! palinurus "send" some green flashes when flying, very impressive !
