Hola, My family and I live in Costa Rica, where we see all kinds of wild critters. Does anyone have any idea what this is? Thanks.

It looks like an owlfly.

Yes damselfly don't have such antennaes.

Yes, it belongs to family Ascalaphidae (Neuroptera), these do look like dragonflies with antennae. Sorry I cannot be more specific.

This could be Ascalobyas albistigma (Walker, 1853). It belongs to the subfamily Ascalaphiinae
