Good afternoon, dear colleagues! From an old collection, I came across such a specimen of a bird-wing butterfly. I could not find and determine what kind of subspecies or form it is in any of the sources available to me, and atlases (this is of course something close to Priam). Maybe one of you can tell me what it is, or does anyone have the email address of Gilles Deslisle or Jean-Pierre Sclavo? To ask them this question. Priam form??? regius76Photo of this butterfly here: drive.google.com/file/d/1rUawq-LU77QZauyh1oJHZMhQjL1KsAX2/view?usp=drive_link

Where does it come from? It looks rather like ssp. urvillianus.

I don't know where is come from, because it not have insect passport (probably from Indonesia). I am think that is urvillianus too, but what is form?
What is confusing is not so much the color as the number of spots on the lower wings and "spots" on the upper ones.

I don't think that's his natural color. On the left hind wing it looks like there is a narrow green stripe. It is also suspicious 'that the abdomen has completely lost its yellow color Can you post a better photo? - Without flash in daylight. Possibly also the underside?

Serious specimens will have a data label below the specimen on its pin which will include the place of origin (no need for a passport ). If there is no data we cannot make any conclusions other than that it looks like urvillianus which comes from far away from Indonesia in the Solomon Islands and Bougainville (PNG). The only blue priamus group taxon in Indonesia is O. aesacus but this is clearly not that species. Adam.
