How about a new undescribed species, will that do? You need to be much more revealing about WHAT?, WHO, WHERE, WHEN, etc. etc. Actually I discovered at least three new undescribed species of Eupithecia here at my home location, the Abita Entomological study site. In the early 1980s myself (from Louisiana) and Bryant Mather from Mississippi sent hundreds of Eupithecia captures (adults) to Fred Rindge at the AMNH. As a result, Rindge described three new species: E. matheri, E. broui and a third E. vicksburgi.
All along, besides discovering both E. matheri and E. broui here at my home, I also captured another still undescribed species which is much rarer of the three I mention here. Doubtfully, I will ever get around to describing this species myself, as I have discovered over 400 species of moths alone, here at my home location, most of which also have not been described in scientific literature. I have published species accounts on other many species of geometridae which occur here among the 451 entomological publications I have accomplished to date.
Have you published anything: or are you in the infancy of your Eupithecia education? Are you only interested in Eupithecia of Finland, or where? I don't specifically seek out Eupithecia as my ~500 automatic-capture insect traps capture everything that comes to them. Your brief statement tells the reader nothing about why you want Eupithecia, nor does it tell the reader anything. If you expect people to participate in your research or projects, you need to be more forthcoming with all the details up front.
The species of Eupithecia I have here at my home location are: Eupithecia peckorum Heitz. & Enns
Eupithecia miserulata Grt.
Eupithecia broui Rindge
Eupithecia jejunata McD.
Eupithecia matheri Rindge
Eupithecia swettii Grossbeck

As far as I know, it is a moth of the family Geometridae. The wingspan is 15–18 mm long. The forewing length is 8-10 mm. Adults are on wing from April to May.

Sorry, I didn't see your messages earlier. Some words about my hobby: I have studied some microlepidoptera (Coleophoridae, Pleurotinae), describing about 50 new species. Now I am expanding my study to Eupithecia too. I have just finished my first article on a new Eupithecia species (I send it to Nota Lepidopterologica). I'm interested in co-operation (worldwide). You can find my articles on internet, for example this: www.mapress.com/zt/article/view/zootaxa.4545.4.1/18797Jukka Tabell, Hartola, Finland
