yorky, Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately it is not possible to upload photos directly to the forum. You need to host them online and then post the link here. If you do not already have an online photo hosting membership we recommend imgur.com as free and easy to use. If you use the formatting [ img ] URL [ /img ] (remove all the spaces) the images will appear in the post. Please see collector-secret.proboards.com/thread/11/attach-picturebut here is what I wrote there: "Yes, it can be confusing at first, I also had problems trying to work it out. What you have to do is open imgur.com and assuming you are logged on (it remembers you if you told it to) you will see your user name at the top right. Hover your mouse on the user name and a dropdown menu will appear. Click the word "Images", then you will see a green "Add Images" button. You can then choose and upload photos. After the images are uploaded you can right click on a thumbnail to open an image then hover your mouse over the image and a URL will appear with the word "Copy" and a dropdown menu symbol. Hover over the dropdown symbol and then click on "Get share links". You will then see 4 choices of links and click "Copy" next to the one labelled "BBCode (Forums)". You can then paste the copied link into the text where you want the photo to appear in the forum post and the pics will appear after you post the reply or create a post." Adam.

I still often find the need to reduce the size of photo files (for emailing etc.) and I find this really useful: tinyjpg.com/.
