Hello,
A few weeks ago i went to Naturalis a dutch nature museum. It has a big insect collection. The collection was origanally from 3 different institutes. They are busy getting the collection together at the moment. I was only in the part where they keep the moths(only macro) And the place was big. They have a whole new system set up for the collection so they have more room. They have drawers that they can move automaticly and it looks awesome. At the moment Naturalis has probably the biggest parnassius collection of the world since they got the collection of Kawasaki. Previously they already had the collection of Eisner how had been collecting parnassius previous to wwII. They also have part of the collection of Siebold how was one of the first people how collected in Japan. To bad I haven't seen them. We got a tour through the moths. We only have seen a few drawers but it took up a lot of time and it was awesome. I hope I can come there again soon.
Greets jens
Ps Please dont use the video anywhere else I haven't asked the people to publish this and sorry that its dutch

Good to see Rob de Vos. A great researcher and the best specialist of Papuan moths.
I had the pleasure to work on some scientific articles with him. Leiden Museum has the biggest Agaristinae collection on Earth as far as I know.
