Hello,
I would like to know how it goes with the populations of this species in other countries. This species was reintroduced in the Netherlands in 1990 and since then we have a population of this species in the Netherlands. There are many projects to keep this species here and protect it from extinction in our country. How is the condition of this species in other countries?

I believe Maculinea ( Phengaris) teleius is rare and declining in many parts of Europe. I did purchase these specimens from the Ukraine at the London Insect Fair .

It looks like you have indeed become a Lycaenid collector I'm getting into it nicely, and received some wonderful Hypochrysops yesterday. Will post photos after they are set.
