One of my beetles has mold in the package.
How should I get rid of it?
An acetone bath maybe? How long?
Any ideas? Thanks.

You can clean it with alcohol and a small brush. Acetone will probably do the trick as well but alcohol seems less aggressive.
You could dip the entire specimen in alcohol if the mold is very bad. This will also relax the legs, so you might need to let it dry out properly afterwards. Benny

I use a 50:50 solution of ammonia and water as a good general cleaner. Submerge relaxed specimen in a small dish and preferbly under a microscope, gently clean with a small brush as indicated above. You'll be amazed what comes off and you'll have a nice clean specimen as a result.
