Hi everyone!
I am an ecologist from Italy, currently studying in Belgium. As part of my master thesis project I embarked in the study of the invertebrate communities dwelling wetland sites around Europe. I am fairly new in the world of entomology and would really appreciate some advice on how to correctly identify my specimens. I am currently using the field guide "Insects of Britain and Western Europe" from Michael Chinery (Revised 2012 Edition), but still I encounter several difficulties in getting further than the family level.
Thank you all in advance for helping me take these first steps into the world of insects.
Cheers, Jay
