Hello Collectors,
I just found this forum while browsing around images of Ornithoptera spp. to draw and decided being a member would be great. I am currently a student studying entomology and am planning on focusing in medical entomology. I have had a passion for insects and many alike for years (my mom can vouch for all the countless times she's yelled at me to get bugs out of the house when I was much younger). I have been a member of a myrmecological forum for a few years now, so I know more about Formicidae than I do other families. There's still much to learn!
I will actually be making a post for some identification help within the next couple weeks to confirm/deny the species of some specimens I recently acquired: Ornithoptera croesus helios. Got them from someone in the U.S., but no data except a written location on the folded triangles they came in.
Thanks, Zeiss

Welcome Zeiss,
Good luck with your entomology studies. Please feel free to post photos of your O. croesus helios in the Identification section if you want confirmation of the identity, and don't forget to include the locality data.
Adam.

Feel welcome! where do you come from? Hello! I come from the United States. I should make that public.
