Hello In the next few months I have plans of traveling to cambodia, could anybody be kind enough to suggest or give any local contacts information. I will travel to Siam reap

I don't have contact info, but can tell you that the Siam Reap area is (1) largely logged and (2) still loaded with landmines. You don't say if you are going butterfly collecting, but if you are make sure you have a local guide.

Thankyou for the warning exoticimports! I am well aware of this situation, its my second time visiting cambodia. the first time I was able to see signs of these mines first hand, scary!

Collecting in Laos (Attopeu region, on the former "Ho Chi Minh Trail"), Vietnam and Cambodia (Angkor), I was careful never to go out of a secure path. Posters describing the different types of anti-personnel mines were part of the landscape. ...
