Just thought this one was a bit different, and might be of interest. I'm not sure how common abnormalities like this are. Top: Caught 6/VII/2014 Nebobongo, Haut-Uele, DRC (abnormally sized forewings) Bottom: Caught 19/XII/2103 Bunia, Ituri, DRC

Both specimens at identical scale.

It is rather unusual, the forewings didn't expand to their normal length or shape.
I have seen the odd Papilio emerge from the pupa with a somewhat similar problem, but it is very rare.

the forewings didn't expand to their normal length or shape. That may be what happened, although the wings seem perfectly formed (no odd wrinkles). It was able to fly fairly well... though, differently (from other D. chrysippus). If I weren't familiar with the species, I may not have known something was awry.
