After a very busy month of January, I am back trying to identify my Phiphi lepidoptera. And of course Arhopala is challenging.
Anyone could identify this one, with splendid green eyes ?
For our members who have never seen Arhopala in the wild, these Lycaenidae nearly never open their wings so it is very hard to picture their recto. This fact doesn't help identification from pictures.
I was lucky to shoot this one, at the exact moment he was taking off, so that we got an idea of his recto.
