Hello Everybody, This is my first post and I dont really know much about insects. But I saw yesterday this cute looking buddy: I have never seen something similar. It was very, very small (probably 1mm). I saw it in Monterrey, Mexico. We were looking a him, (from above looked like a berry, or somebody call-it mini-buffalo, because of the big and tall boddy compared to his legs). By the way, it could fly. I would like to know what type of insect it was and try to find more information about it. Thanks!

Hello! It's a weevil (family Curculionidae). Maybe in the subfamily Ceutorhynchinae. There are tons of species and one must be a regional weevil expert for identify them. But at least I've got you a bit closer to the ID :-)
