There was one specimen known of natural hybrid between Teinopalpus aureus and Teinopalpus imperialis.
On Saturday, I had the luck to see a second specimen recently found in Indochina. It shares patterns of both species and look like a strange aureus. I guess it will interest Papilionidae lovers here.

Thanks Adam, pity it is in black and white, but the 2 hybrids look to have the exact same patterns.

The original is in colour, of course. Here is a colour scan of the plate: By the way, the new specimen comes from Yen Bai, N Vietnam. Adam.

Adam, can you send the paper? The link did not pull anything up. My question, was DNA tested? Or is this just speculation? atocha59@gmail.com
