I found these chrysalis while in Ixtapan de la Sal, Mexico.
Please help me identify them!

Amazing to find so many on the same twig with pre pupal larvae in the background. Sorry, can't help with the ID though as not familiar with Mexican species. Nymphalidae a possibility.

I would guess that they may belong to subfamily Heliconiinae, but that's purely a guess. They look rather like Acraea pupae, but that genus is Old World tropical, and not found in Mexico.
