Sardinia island in the Mediterranea is famous for its endemic species, most of them shared with the close Corsica island.
In the mountains of Sardinia, you can see some very nice endemic species, including these 2 nice Satyridae, Hipparchia neomiris and Hipparchia aristaeus.

Nice species. Also, nice photography to boot ! Beautiful images. Tough getting live shots of most butterflies.
