Hi everyone. I've always been interested in entomology and have recently begun planning to raise and breed a few types of insects. I'm new to all this and have a lot to learn, so any advice and information would be very appreciated!

Hello, my name is Andreas, I am located in Saarbrücken (Germany) and my main interest is related to moths, photography, zoogeography and the Internet for sharing all this. I am active on iNaturalist.org. Since a few years I am documenting moths and other insects which are attracted to UV light in my back garden. During winter months, I am helping with coarse identification of some Neotropical moth groups on iNaturalist, and trying to complete tropical moth species, geographical distribution and picture material, if available.

Hey everyone! My name is Benjamin AKA Manitobant from Manitoba, Canada. I’ve been quite active in the insect (especially antkeeping) community for a few years now and thought I would join this forum as well. I mainly collect moths at my light trap and have racked up a lot of interesting specimens over the years.

Hi everyone. My name is Robert, working as a semi-retired English professor in Japan. My introduction to insects was when I was very young in Hong Kong in the 1950s. We had a house and garden in those days and the sky was sometimes filled with the dragonfly Pantala flavescsens. I have a M.Sc. in Zoology (thesis on crickets), but now I'm much more interested in butterflies. I look forward to interacting with you all.

Hello to all...I'm retired and have taken up collecting butterflies once again, after a 30 year hiatus...I was born and raised in Western Montana and have been living in Southwestern Montana for the last 37 years...my main interests are papilionidae and nymphalidae...I had a nice collection started but had to put it aside because of employment demands and over the course of time about half of it was destroyed due to improper storage, so it's like I'm just now starting over again...I am thoroughly enjoying catching up on the hobby and this board is helping very much!

Hi Everyone!
My name is Lexy; I'm part owner of an ant & spider keeping store. I'm always joining forums to discuss and find new passions in the insect hobby. I hope to learn and share any knowledge I have. I'm primarily knowledgeable in ants and my partner in spiders, and I hope to be able to contribute to the discussions.

Hello, my name is Joe. I live in Cornwall UK, and I have been very interested in the study and collection of butterflies and moths of the world, for over 70 years. In that time I have amassed a large collection, mainly from buying from Entomology Fairs in the UK.
