I recently acquired these two pairs of this gorgeous moth. It is found in parts of Arizona, New Mexico, and 4 counties of western Texas. Males I've been told come to light and are occasionally collected. For collectors here on the Eastern seaboard of the U.S. this is a rarely seen species in private collections. These were bred last year (from ova) acquired from a wild caught female ! The wingspan is 85-95mm. What an arctiid.

Very nice Trehopr. The females are incredible, especially in that condition. I was lucky enough to get 3 males a couple of summers ago in Arizona.
