And after all, who would say P. autocrator is still not among the rarest?
I just want to add that the start of the thread is very illustrative: answering the question of which one is the rarest, a "local authority" in Parnassius (as somebody put it) is stating the price of this or that taxon, saying that many of them are no longer that expensive... Instead of talking about virtual inaccessibility of a taxon's habitat due to various reasons, including political ones, instead of mentioning that many of them are simply far not easy to catch even if you are lucky enough to visit the place, the "discussion" is focusing on money. Collecting money by means of reselling Parnassius specimens does not make anyone a collector, even if he has managed to read a couple of books (apart from price-lists).
