Hi all I'm new to the forum and new to entomology! I want to start collecting my own personal collection after starting with the shadow boxes from eBay last year. I've noticed in most of the imported boxes these small white cardboard cubes in the corners..what are they exactly and would I need something like that if I'm going down the cabinet drawer route. Many thanks

Welcome to the forum.
The "small white cardboard cubes" appear to be a neat way to hide an insect repellant, possibly a mothball or an insecticide such as a chunk of no-pest strip (vapona).
Adam.
