A book review as just been published : COLLINS S.C. 2015. Book review : Les papillons diurnes des îles Comores/The butterflies of the Comoros. Metamorphosis 26 : 79 I have asked Steve if I can put the link here as there is a copyright A+, Michel It is incredible that none well known African lepidoptetist is associated despite specialists of this region really exist (at least Turlin and Collins) Steve's comment goes in the same direction of what I already read or hear about this book ... not so positive !

I believe it's freely available to anyone through metamorphosis.org.za/(You might need to create a user account for yourself.)

I believe it's freely available to anyone through metamorphosis.org.za/(You might need to create a user account for yourself.) It is very nice publication (digitalised) specialized in African lepidoptera mixing papers for everyone and more specialized ones (description of new sp). Souh Africa is the only county in Africa well organised around a Lepidoptera project (mainly butterflies) with its own plubication, team, meeting, etc. The famous Abri collection (Kenyan) hardly work with them. It has a back ground of quite lot of butterflies collectors in RSA. the only other publication specialised in Africa is Entomologia Africana (same kind of papers but extended to all Lepidoptera and Coleoptera and with less activities in the field)

The famous Abri collection (Kenyan) hardly work with them. I can't speak much to the past, but of the 14 papers published so far this year in Metamorphosis, the director of ABRI is listed as an author in 4 of them, and is listed in the acknowledgements of at least 2 others.
