I think the specific name says "pungleri" if that helps.

I thought it looked like "ringleri" so I checked for that; a link came up that calls it a syn of zambesina. My guess is that the data is "Natal, S(outh) A(frica)", and apparently now in the genus Gonimbrasia. If you're not aware, there's a very good Saturniidae website; it's in German but easy to figure out: www.saturniidae-web.de/inhalt.htm |
