Hello everybody! I live in Milan Italy. The other day I was in the garden and I stumbled across this insect which is rather peculiar for my area. I have never seen this kind of a insect around, I usually only see normal wasps and normal bees, this one was completely black apart from two, and only two, yellow stripes on the back . It's a female Scolia hirta, pollinating the mint, a plant that they feel predilection for according to my own observations in my garden, where sadly it's now rarer than years ago
