Just found this in our backyard. We live in Israel. Never seen anything like that, anyone has any idea?

It looks like a chafer beetle to me. Sorry I can't be more specific, I am sure someone here will be able to give a more accurate identification. I edited the caps-lock text and added beetle to the subject to attract the attention of the right people.

This is a Tropinota (Cetoniidae). I can't help without it's datas and better fotos of under and upper sides.

Different species are known from Israël... Too hypothetic without other views...

Most probably Tropinota vittula Reiche & Saulcy. The white maculae are stretched longitudinally, which would be unusual in the sympatric sister species T. sqaulida pilosa Brullé. Miki
