looks like Cymothoe harmilla micans I see that you described the subspecies in 1995, which explains why it wasn't in Berger's book. Is it an uncommon species?

Not really uncommon , more quite localised. If you got a spot you can catch it easily.foodplant is a Rinorea, inside the forest.male are heliophiles and females rest under the cover being ombrophile like many cymothoe of the egesta group and the reds
