So, since the birth of our daughter 3 months ago I haven't been able to find as much consistent time for this hobby. This meant that, for far longer than I anticipated, I had several specimens set aside in a not-terribly-well sealed box ready to be incorporated into my storage boxes. Some of those specimens are now showing signs of pests.
I've placed them in a much better sealing ~5L plastic container along with a whole Vapona (dichlorvos) strip and I'm wondering how long I should leave them in there?
I would normally freeze the specimens, but I have yet to convinced my wife to liberate our tiny freezer for this purpose.
Thanks.

I believe the only way to kill everything, eggs etc is in the Freezer.
