Hey beetle folks, I have a Cerambycid species here in need of some measure of identification. I collected it in Southern Illinois on June.10.2017. It is the first time for me encountering this species down there despite many trips. It showed up at my M.V.Light. It's length is 18mm. I do get various Cerambycidae at my lights however, most are the same old repeats or "re-treads" of species which I've seen before. Therefore, I only tend to keep the Prionids (with their spiked pronotums) and the "one-offs" like this one. I have absolutely no literature on North American Cerambycidae. Sorry, for only having "field pinned" the specimen but, it is now getting bounced into the relaxer for proper adjustment. Is this something special?

By Jove, mikeh you hit it right on the nogg'in ! Splendid. It is a handsome little species indeed. Just surprised that I have not seen others like it before since there are apple trees in the area and I've lighted in that place on many occasions. Thank you so much for your help.
