Indeed many species of Troidini do have a small sphragis, including birdwings. The South American Euryades duponchelii and corethrus actually have a very large sphragis, even more obvious than those of Parnassius. In many species the sphragis is not actually externally visible, but is present after mating as an internal 'plug', eg many Parides species.
