Holy Cow ! ! There sure was some mighty stiff bidding today on a female Morpho cypris chrysonicus form cyanites. She fetched $1711.00 plus shipping. I know these fair ladies are stunners to look upon and do come along only now and again but, is that price in line with what is normally posted at fairs ? I have only seen females of Morpho absoloni fetch more.

It was indeed a strong battle on it. It was a splendid and rare lady ! Not sure I saw some for sale in fairs.

That female was also a rarer subspecies than the more commonly available "classic" nominate M. cypris.
