i was thinking that since no one i personally know has any interest in insects/arachnids, and that im pretty isolated where i live, that it might be a fun idea to make a kik group centered around entomology and insects. no clue if this is the right thread for this, but i thought i might as well try. so, if anyone is interested in this my kik user is GDV3, just hmu, my good humans,,

ah, never mind then, sometimes i forget my hobbies are not always shared within age range, i apologize Kik it is a free app for communication . I used it before but I switched to Line and Tango. It might be not popular around the world as each part of the world tends to use different apps. For example in Asia Line is very popular and used widely for free calls and texting also to advertise many products and service for free. Paul PS Don't know what is hmu stands for neither.

Ah, I see, well sort of, I am quite computer savvy but I don't get teenage speak, despite having teenage children I don't know what the hell they are on about half of the time and I'm happy with that.

hmu = "hit me up", i.e. "contact me".

ah, never mind then, sometimes i forget my hobbies are not always shared within age range, i apologize Don't be put off by us old fogeys, if you think that a 'kik group' will help you connect with like-minded insect enthusiasts then go ahead, and keep us on ICF informed of how it's doing. I expect that a significant proportion of the members and guest readers will understand what you are saying and be interested. Adam.

It cracks me up every time the older gentleman say "legit" in reference to collecting data, it's street lingo for "cool" or "impressive"

I think a "kik group" is an excellent idea (though I have to admit, I'm with everyone else, never heard of it until now) anything that gets the younger generation involved and interested in collecting, breeding insects is only a positive thing and should take our hobby forwards.

A1 rarities will be sold to other lep fans.
