More than 4.000 French gardens per year has been included in this survey. It confirms the importance of wild plants and no-pesticide to boost the butterfly diversity of your garden.

It proves that having nectaring plants like buddlejas will of course strongly increase butterfly abundance in your garden but NOT the number of species in your garden. Pesticide (even only one) will divide per 2.5 the number of species in your garden.
In Europe, very important to plant urtica and brassica species to attract many of our local urban species.
