welcome andonj,
Please feel free to ask any questions in the relevant sections of the forum, rather than here. Questions about "recognising a certain species" can be placed in the Identification section, and you are welcome to post links to samples of your insect artwork in the Art section.
If you are unsure how to do this, go to the particular section you want to post a new topic in and click on 'Create Thread' on the right in the blue bar at the top and write your post there.
I am sure that either myself or other members can answer questions relating to identification of swallowtails, which happen to be my own speciality.
Adam.

Hi everyone, I'm Erich, from Paraguay, western region (https://goo.gl/maps/nAXKDP6A3jjDEUwRA). I am interested in knowing more about the art and science of collecting insects, as an agronomist I already have some knowledge, but it is very superficial. I am interested in hymenoptera, especially native bees and ants, although I am open to others such as lepidoptera, coleoptera, etc. What I am not very clear about is what I can expect, in the country there are a handful of entomologists and fewer businesses that sell products, if this would affect anything. Sorry for the general question. What would be the basic equipment requirement to start and see if I'm passionate enough to continue. Thank you all.

I didn't see the trading reports right away, but having strict rules in it will solve most of the issues.

John, Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately the UK butterfly historian 'retired' from posting a few years ago due to personal health reasons. I am sure he would have been able and very interested to help in your quest. I found a lot of information about him on Wikipedia at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Heslop. He certainly sounds a very interesting person all round. Perhaps someone else on the forum can contribute some information. Adam.
