Cetoniinae are splendid Coleoptera ! In our temperate countries, we don't have any giant Goliathus but we do have an impressive numbers of small jewels !
Some pictures of paleartic Cetoniinae from my friend Christophe Le Pogam's collection :
This collection also shows the splendid variations of some species.
So prepare your banana traps for next season !

WOW ! Now that is one "impressive" beetle collection your friend Christophe has. Top of the line --- in my humble opinion. Preening out all those delicate legs is taxing and having them look all so equally symmetrical is incredible. A true labor of love which shows. And here I thought only the Japanese accorded such painstaking work to their beetle collections. I guess I'm wrong in that thought ! Outstanding and pleasantly surprising....
Perhaps your friend Christophe has some other incredible beetle drawers he could show us.
