there is a bid on it ! incredible ! You can sell nearly everything on ebay, so many buyers there (including some wealthy unknowledgeable bidders).

I was actually going to write to you privately asking why you put an old discoloured typical Papilio dardanus dardanus male at a ridiculous price as the first item on your rotating ad at the top of the forum page, but since you asked about it I am giving my opinion publicly here (apologies to the seller, who has a good reputation). Presumably this specimen has spent many years in a glass fronted frame on a wall somewhere, probably also in humid conditions. Adam.

The TOP 100 is an automatic tool. I automatically remove some non-insect related items, I can ban some sellers but I cannot technically remove some "fake" specimens. Impossible for the tool, which is not entomologist, to distinguish a good dardanus from a fake one.
The only thing we can do is discussing about these topics on the ICF to warn bidders. I guess most Ornitho collectors are know aware about those UV fakes thanks to such discussion. We should also write directly to the seller, some of them are serious, some not.
The TOP 100 is an "automatic tool" and should be used like this. (500 users per day) It is not an evaluation of the seriousness of sellers or of each displayed items. Maybe in the future it would be technically possible for me to easily remove one item, for the moment it is impossible, unfortunately.

Ah, I see, thanks for explaining. I thought you chose which items to put in the ad.
Adam.
