I am always curious what other nationalities are traditionnaly eating for Christmas dinner.
I will do Christmas in Paris this year, and we will have foie gras, salmon and red beef. In Milan where I live, they are crazy about the "Panetone" dessert.
What about you ?

In DRC, with the street-boys last Christmas, we ate a goat, "irish" potatoes, and fufu, all in the standard (yet strangely tasty) oily tomato sauce.
I'll be in Canada for Christmas this year, so undoubtedly we'll have tortiere at some point. Also lots of Christmas desserts... mmmmmmmmm... I'm thankful for my fast metabolism!

I don't celebrate Xmas myself other than a Xmas tree and presents for my son, but I would like to wish everyone on the forum a very Merry Xmas.
Adam.

Having had turkey a few weeks ago, ham and potato salad is the usual Christmas dinner for me. I assume that tradition will hold this year.

We'll have a typical dinner from my land, the Salento: linguine (a variety of pasta) with sea urchins, baked bream and prawns , and typical sweets called "purciddhuzzi" (fried sweet with honey). Everything will be accompanied by white wine (I have to decide if Falanghina or Verdeca wine grape variety).
