Nice to meet Bob again at the fair, selling some nice leps, I bought two While there was not the rarities with a few exceptions, that one sees in Juvisy, there were some real nice specimens at extra cheap prices. Vendors from other countries do not attend. The range of new and secondhand books was exceptional and were my main purchases although I still bought home some nice specimens, including a few Delias. Nice to see and talk to the member antho and many other entomological friends.
Here a few images for your pleasure. This is one bug that I do not buy, he was not advertising he actually dressed like this for the occasion. It could only happen in Britain
Those insect fairs are amazing. I am really disappointed that we don't have one here in Canada anymore . Going there must be really though to keep the wallet on the leash. So much material to choose from.
Great pictures Peter. Makes me wish I had made the effort.!! Bob looks like he had some wonderful things as usual !! Good to see pupae of P machaon britannicus..would have loved some of those too. Dave
