Early this year I contacted Thanh, vietnaminsects on eBay, who I've had loads of specimens of uemurai, devyatkini, eamsei and mathilda from Vietnam from and I gave him a few locations further north to look at in search of the elusive fruhstorferi, he made a reconnaissance trip early this year and found a favourable area which he has just returned from and he has found stichophthalma fruhstorferi, 2 specimens can be seen in the auction pages under the Amathusidae link, I would imagine there will be a lot of interest in these as they have not been seen in a while, though I think he may have had a couple last year from further south but they could have been uemurai abb or colour form, didn't see a good picture. They are a little out of my price range at the moment but they are very good specimens, I'll be happy with lesser quality at a cheaper price and a good series ( quantity over quality for a reference collection) I've also been in touch with Steeve Collard, recently bought some good papilionidae from him on eBay and I'm hoping to be getting some stichophthalma mathilda from Laos in a few weeks, all being well, I have males, as can be seen on my website, but no females as yet, so I have fingers crossed.
