Hi! I've never bred any lepidoptera, now I need these moths because I breed orchid mantises and they have health problems if the eat only roaches, during summer I go out and capture moths and other insects but now winter is coming and I have to find a solution. I have a box with some pupae and some moths of achroia grisella hatched today, I am trying to collect information about how to breed these caterpillars, anyone has experience?
Today as an experiment I've prepared a mix of legumes flour and honey and I've tried to put in it some of the smallest worms (they arrived of various sizes in the box) but they don't seem to like it for now, they are hanging on the lid of the container... Let me know and thank you!
