Greetings all,
I am uncertain as to whether it is species specific, specimen specific, me doing something wrong, or just a freak occurrence of the rehydration process, but on occasion there seems to be a very slight overfold in the cephalad edge of the hindwing or forewing (seemingly the hindwing most of the time). Is it appropriate in spreading to try to undo this overfold, is it just considered a natural conformation of the wing. I for one has historically not been fond of seeing it and have made aims at removing it meeting only with mediocre success usually roughing up the wing edge slightly...
Just wanting individuals who know far more than myself's opinion if anyone even knows what I am trying to speak of...
Thanks in advance

Reading your post I am not sure what you mean. Can you post a photo of the problem? If you don't know how, please see collector-secret.proboards.com/thread/11/attach-picture . You have to host photos online and put a link to the photo in your post. I recommend imgur.com (it's free) and if you follow my instructions the photo is displayed in your post. Adam.
