I am still working on my picture posting skills. At the moment my son helps me somewhat. And I shall bring it to his attention that this area still needs improvement ! He will know better what you are referring to and we will go from there. Don't want my ideas, thoughts, or humor coming across SCRAMBLED....

If I click on the links they don't open, so I haven't seen them yet - same with the other pdf links you posted elsewhere.
Adam.

It works fine on my computer. You have to be logged in though to see forum's attachments.

Opening and viewing a pdf like this requires it to be downloaded... which can be a dangerous thing to do on the internet... my web-surfing instincts have taken control here and I haven't looked at the files (pictures?). If they are pictures, it would be better to attach them in (what is likely) there original .jpg form. If it's a document of some sort, please provide a preview image and/or description.

It works fine on my computer. You have to be logged in though to see forum's attachments. I am always logged in, so I know which threads are updated. When I right click them and choose 'open in new window' I just get a blank window, and nothing opens in it. Adam.

Hey Adam, The troubles you do face can have different root causes. Either your Windows / Internet version is 'old' but I do believe that most likely your Internet/Chrome/Firefox settings blocks pop ups - If the 'pdf' is opened in a new blank Google window of your Internet Explorer: try to refresh that window. The pdf can then popup. Informatics are supposed to help our day to day work Cheers, Xavier

Sorry fellas about the technical problems. I only posted a few " funnies" (cartoons) cut from my local newspapers depicting naturalist themes or pokes at lepidopterists. I tape up the better ones in my "bug room". I will find another means via my son to help me SHOW the images for all to see. THANKYOU Treehopr1.

When you scan them save them as a jpeg file, rather than a pdf file, that will make the image visible on the forum as a thumbnail.
Xavier,
I am afraid that my computer is 'old', mainly because I really do not like the new versions of Windows (W8 is probably great for kids who only want to play games and watch videos, but not for people like me who use the computer for e-mail, internet and study). They removed Outlook Express from Windows 7, and an upgrade would also mean I would have to spend huge sums to purchase new compatible versions of some programs. Sadly I am part of the minority customer base and of course they are in business to satisfy the majority.
Meanwhile, I just continue using my 6 year old computer and put up with the resultant quirks.
