Hello. Over the years i have been looked that insects in entomological collections are stored in wood boxes. Is any problem with stored insects temporally (for 1 year) in plastic boxes wich are hermetically sealed and prevent the pests enter, and if i control the humidity in 40-60% HR for avoid the mold growth?

I store papered specimens before spreading in sealed plastic ziploc containers.

There is no problem storing specimens in sealed plastic boxes, but they should preferably be frozen to ensure there are no pests inside them before putting them inside.
Adam.
