Trio of African butterflies framed on a map

I just finished this for my father.  I'm still learning; the butterflies aren't perfect, I hope to improve.

I downloaded the map from here, and had it printed on cardstock at shutterfly:

I am planning to do a 11x14 version of this map with five species.  I am planning to do other maps in the future (Southeast Asia, Madagascar, Peru, North America)

The insect museum in Montreal has done what I'd always dreamed of- a massive map of New Guinea and area with the Ornithoptera placed in the appropriate positions on the map.

I have some butterfly projects pending for some time now, just never get time.
