Hi! So i've been disconnected from this hobby for almost a year now, until about a week ago that is. As of now i'm going through me and my father's collection to identify the insects, it is a fairly big collection with about three hundred insects, mostly butterflies. The collection is made entirely out of specimens that we caught in Madagascar, the hobby was a great father-son hobby and we proudly set up numerous frames for decoration. My big wish is to have them all identified and framed. However, it is hard for me to actually do that as i have little knowledge about how and where to do it. so far i've used www.africanmoths.com/index.html to identify our moths, and it's a nice tool as it's easy to use with photos and it also pinpoints the location that the species exist. If anyone has any similar tool for the identification of malagasy butterflies or beetles it would help me out a lot! Kaspar

Try posting photographs on this site. I would be pleased to see if I can help with the butterflies of Madagascar,
